Polda Metro Jaya confirmed Briptu Andry Budi Wibowo those who died in East Jakarta were hit and run victims. A TNI person has been arrested related to the accident that resulted in the death of the victim.
“An investigation was carried out and someone who was indeed a member of the TNI was arrested,” said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (18/9/2020).
However, Yusri did not explain who the TNI personnel were. Yusri said that these TNI personnel are currently being handled by the TNI POM.
“Just ask POM,” he added.
Yusri confirmed Briptu Andry not a victim of robbery, it’s a traffic accident victim.
“The victim of a police officer yesterday was a hit and run,” added Yusri.
This was revealed after the police conducted the crime scene. The police found a clue that shed light on the incident.
