The image of Argentina’s national team captain Lionel Messi may appear on the country’s banknote after the team’s victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
It is reported that Messi can be printed on a 1000 peso banknote (about 1870 UAH). This choice is dictated by the fact that the denomination of the account begins with the number 10, the playing number of the 35-year-old striker of the Argentine national team.
The reverse of the banknote can be decorated with the inscription “La Scaloneta” – the nickname of Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni.
