Merchant “piranita” mocks Prosecutor Edgar Torales and flees after million-dollar scam

This morning the “Movitech” store was intervened, in the Shopping Vendome. The owner defrauded two tourists for more than 33 million guaraníes, but prosecutor Torales allowed him to escape.

Once again, the fiscal agent Edgar Modesto Torales became the subject of ridicule and flaunted his total incompetence, in a new intervention carried out this morning, about fraudster merchants who operate in the downtown area of Ciudad del Este.
According to the data, in this last case of million-dollar fraud, the Brazilian compristas Rodrigo Neves Fermino Junior and Josivaldo de Almeida Alves were victims, who denounced that they bought high-end cell phones worth 25,000 reais (about 33 million guaraníes ) of the trade called “Movitech”, located on the fourth floor of Shopping Vendome. The person responsible for the new fraud case is the merchant Juan Antonio Bogado Pavón, who already has a history of similar events. According to the complaint, Bogado Pavón did not deliver the merchandise, despite the payment made.
Within the framework of the investigation of the case, on the date, Holy Wednesday, the Public Ministry and the Tourist Police intervened in the place and spoke with Bogado Pavón, who acknowledged the facts and said that he was going to look for the telephone numbers of another business to deliver them. to the tourists. Naively, prosecutor Torales “believed” the story and the invigorated merchant simply fled the place, instead of fulfilling the “promise”, making fun of everyone.
Later, the lawyer Isolina Cardozo appeared at the scene and said she was the representative of Bogado Pavón. The same at all times demonstrated an arrogant attitude and tried to detract from the prosecutor-police work, hurling insults against the interveners, for which reason she should also have been warned or arrested, in any case, but of course, Torales’ pusillanimous attitude prevented it. .
Given this and in order not to be totally ridiculous, Torales ordered the arrest of Juan Antonio Bogado Pavón, according to official letter 313, dated today, April 5. He also announced that the “merchant” will be charged with the punishable acts of fraud and appropriation, thus becoming the first trickster merchant with an arrest warrant, something that prosecutor Torales had never done before, who prefers to “negotiate” with fraudsters, rather than exchange of juicy bribes, according to reliable sources that deserve credibility. Of the dozens of existing cases, there are only 3 defendants, while the others would have “negotiated” with the questioned agent, whose removal was already requested by the merchants to the new authorities of the Public Ministry.
