The German luxury automotive company, Mercedes-Benz, chose the city of Miami as the headquarters for the construction of its first skyscraper in the United States, marking a milestone in architecture and urban design in South Florida.
The 67-story building will be located in the luxurious Brickell neighborhood, and according to the company, it will be an icon of innovation and luxury.
The Mercedes-Benz Places Tower will be a complex that merges residences, offices and wellness spaces, all in the same mixed-use space.
It will have a cube-shaped structure, inspired by Mercedes-Benz’s “pure sensuality” design philosophy, and will feature 791 private residences that will be marketed between $550,000 and $4 million.
According to the company’s social networks, the Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami will be a distinctive “urban oasis” that will mix sophistication, convenience and, at the same time, sustainable living, although at the same time they have not indicated exactly what measures it will take for environmental sustainability.
“Our co-branded residential project together with JDS Development Group establishes a unique and future-oriented experience,” the site adds.
The Mercedes-Benz car company praises the location of the complex, and points out that it became involved in the construction of buildings as part of a brand strategy, to diversify its investments and expand its presence in different sectors of the luxury market.
Now that they are associated with high-end real estate projects, Mercedes-Benz can strengthen its image beyond the automotive industry, while reaching a broader and more affluent audience.
For this, the company has a unique collaboration with Binghatti Properties, with which they have already created the first Mercedes-Benz brand residence in the world.
The brand entered the real estate market with everything, with a residence located in the exclusive district of Downtown Dubai. This luxury tower spans 65 floors and reaches a height of 341 meters, with an architectural design that fuses luxury and functionality.
The range of residences includes 2 to 4 bedroom apartments, penthouses, full floors, duplexes and triplexes, with spaces ranging from 1,846 to 6,194 square feet. Each residence features a private pool, offering panoramic views of the iconic Burj Khalifa and a design that maximizes sight lines to Dubai’s cityscape. Something similar is expected in the Miami complex.
