Mercato: PSG set to beat Chelsea for Achraf Hakimi

Published on : / Through Helmut Pinto

The English club Chelsea are still in the race to sign Achraf Hakimi by offering money as well as an additional player. But interested in a cash offer, Inter Milan would expect PSG to offer € 75million to secure the signing of the Morocco international.

Inter Milan have to sell at least one of their stars to keep the accounts balanced and the 23-year-old is set to leave Stadio Meazza after just one season at the club. According to several reports in Italy, Inter Milan want at least 80 million euros to sell the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund winger.

Among the contenders, the English from Chelsea and the French from PSG. The two clubs are in the race to secure Hakimi’s services. However, neither club have yet met Inter Milan’s economic demands and Sky Sport Italia correspondent Angelo Mangiante says both clubs are still in the race to sign Hakimi.

The Ligue 1 giants could soon make a formal offer to secure the player’s services and wipe out the competition from the Blues. Sky Sport Italia report that Inter Milan expect the Ligue 1 giants to make an official offer of € 75million in the coming days. That would be enough to sign Hakimi despite the Serie A champions wanting € 80million to sell the right-back.

Chelsea don’t seem willing to offer as much, but are said to be open to adding Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso in a player-more-money swap deal. However, Inter Milan would prioritize a cash offer, and with talks with PSG underway, the Serie A giants may soon receive the decisive offer from Paris.
