While Real Madrid suffers like many European clubs heavy financial losses due to the COVID-19 crisis, the president of the Madrid team Florentino Perez would be ready to decide not to recruit any player this summer.

According to information from the Spanish media, planning to recruit new players would not be in the plans for Florentino Perez until the competitions are over. Until this is done, the president of the real Madrid would have put on hold all the names proposed to him to strengthen the team. A series of rules would have been established for recruiting: recruit players who improve what exists, whose expense would be an investment, while removing those who no longer have their place in the club’s project. However, we should add to these parameters the factor of the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus, which led to a long halt in the activity of clubs, including that of real Madrid. And this consequent decrease in income could result in the fact that Florentino Perez refuses to spend money and thus recruit new players.
