The management of Tout-Puissant Mazembe is looking to replace Muleka after his signature in Belgium, it is an open secret. Kamalondo’s club would have tracked the profile of the ideal striker to succeed Jackson Muleka. According to unofficial sources, the Congolese striker of Nkana FC Idriss Mbombo would be the lucky one. His profile and stats would have appealed to Ravens recruiters.
The 24-year-old native of Lubumbashi signed up with Nkana last July for two years after a short stay in Al Hilal in Sudan. Author of around 30 goals with the Devils in the past two seasons, he finished top scorer and best player in the Zambian Premier League in 2018.
Mazembe will have to convince Nkana to let go of his best striker. His past in transfer is not easier. Idriss Mbombo Ilunga notably won a case before FIFA against Al Hilal. The Sudanese club owe him $ 80,000. File to follow.
