Meghan speaks for the first time about American protests Entertainment

Because George Floyd’s life mattered, as did Breonna Taylor, Philando Castile, Tamir Rice and so many other people whose names we know and don’t know, ”said Meghan, who then reminisces similar protests and riots in spring 1992. The duchess was 11 or 12 years old at the time. “I remember the curfew and running back home, seeing the ashes fall from the sky and smoke coming out of the houses. I remember men with weapons (…) those memories don’t go away. ”

You are going to speak out stronger than ever before, because you will soon be able to vote ”, stimulates Meghan. “You are ready. We need you and you are prepared. ”

entertainment">The video message comes a day after an old video in which Meghan speaks out against racism surfaced. In it she says that as a daughter of a white father and black mother she has experienced racism.
