Meghan Markle vs Kate Middleton: Americans Choose Their Favorite Royal

Eternally in competition despite their difference in status, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton will never cease to divide the lovers of the British Crown. Separated for more than three years by the Atlantic, the two women were recently decided in an opinion poll carried out by BonusFinder.com and revealed by the Daily Express, this Monday, May 15. Americans prefer the former star of Suitssingled out for keeping Prince Harry away from his family since their marriage in 2018, or the princess of wales, impeccable in all circumstances ?

At 29.6% of the votes, the big winner of this poll is unsurprisingly the future heiress to the throne, who is thus the second favorite personality of royalty. The daughter of Doria Ragland, she receives 18.6% of votes, which places it in fourth position in the ranking. The sons of Charles III, Harry and William, were also opposed in this investigation. And unlike the previous match, the result strangely highlights Lady Diana’s younger brother.

Prince Harry, number 1 in the hearts of Americans

Pointed out for his multiple revelations about the Firm in his book and on Netflix, and, more recently, for his lightning appearance at his father’s coronation on May 6, Archie and Lilibet Diana’s father enjoys here a 33.8% popularity. This makes it the most beloved member of the family in the United States. The future king of England, he is in third position with 22%.

Result of a questionnaire submitted to 7,276 American citizens from 36 different states, this study proves one thing: Meghan Markle is everyone’s pet peeve, in the UK and in her native country. It is also partly because of the criticisms made of her in the English press that the Duchess of Sussex chose not to go to London for the coronation of her father-in-law. The latter is not the best off in the poll, with only 10.8% of favorable opinions against him, and 4.4% for his wife, Queen Camilla.
