Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will make their first series for Netflix »SmartEnvironment

Entornointeligente.com / The renowned couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they will make their first audiovisual production for Netflix called ‘Heart of Invictus’, from their audiovisual company, Archewell Productions.

This documentary series will be about the Invictus Games, a group of people who are part of the Armed Forces who suffered accidents or have illnesses and try to reach the Invictus Games, a competition created by the prince in 2014 for soldiers with disabilities or injuries.

“It will follow a group of extraordinary competitors from around the world, all members of the armed forces who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses, on their way to the Invictus Games in The Hague 2020, now scheduled for 2022,” it was the announcement that Netflix made in a statement.

In this production, Prince Harry will be the executive producer and, in turn, will appear on the screen with a role that is not yet defined.

“This series will provide communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their way to the Netherlands next year,” Prince Harry explained in a statement.

The spouses signed a multi-year contract with Netflix last September to produce movies, documentaries and children’s shows for the platform.

Merkel and Harry, who have not been part of monarchical life for some time, currently live in California USA since 2020. The couple have also done radio productions with the Archewell Audio podcast on Spotify.
