Within a few years, the Ford F-150 Raptor became an extremely popular model, which was later followed by the smaller Ranger Raptor. However, the American company MegaRexx Trucks from North Carolina is now coming up with a unique MegaRaptor model, which is aimed at those interested in even larger and more extreme machines.
The model in the gallery was created on the basis of the Ford F-250 Super Duty Platinum, but the company states on its website that it is capable of rebuilding the MegaRaptor on virtually any Ford F-250, F-350 or F-450 model. But let’s go back to the car in the pictures.

Its body has been extended with new laminate panels in the range of 30.5 to 45.7 centimeters compared to the standard pickup. The impression of robustness is further enhanced by the Ford F-150-style Anzo lamps or the new off-road bumpers at the front and rear, equipped with protective plates and additional LED lamps.
The trimmer also won with the already sufficiently robust chassis of the Super Duty model. MegaRaptor thus offers a raised air chassis and special cast wheels with the designation “Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected”, ie allegedly resistant to mines, fitted with giant Michelin XZL tires of size 395/85 R20. Due to their placement in the wheel arches, the adjuster had to move the front axle and to ensure adequate acceleration, it was also necessary to replace the differentials.
The chassis also features 4.5-inch Icon progressive springs at the front, 5-inch leaf springs at the rear, Bilstein shock absorbers, modified arms, adjustable stabilizers and a built-in air compressor. Amp Research’s electric folding steps on both sides make it easier to enter the elevated cabin.

Under the hood is a standard turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel Power Stroke V8, which drives all four wheels. The engine has an output of 354 kW (482 hp) and offers the highest torque of up to 1,432 Nm, which is more than enough for moving in difficult terrain and towing heavy trailers. After all, the adjustable towing device at the rear is also worth attention.
The construction of each MegaRaptor will take 2 to 3 months and it will definitely not be a cheap joke. Although the MegaRexx Trucks modifier did not publish the price, those interested must first purchase a basic vehicle and make a 50% deposit for the modification.
