Megan adamantly expressed that the song addresses anyone who uses her name to seek attention online, insinuating that a snake will lash out at those provoking it.

Megan’s Law is named after 7-year-old Megan Kanka, who was raped and murdered in 1994 by a convicted child molester. This tragedy prompted Megan’s family to advocate for legislation requiring police to inform communities about nearby sex offenders.
Multiple lyrics in “Hiss” could be interpreted as alluding to Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender after having served time in prison for attempted rape.
Nicki Minaj responds with ‘Big Foot’ diss songs
Given the speculation surrounding Megan’s lyrics, Nicki Minaj took to the X platform to express her discontent with the track and announced her own diss track, “Big Foot,” released on Monday.
The title of Minaj’s track appears to be a reference to Megan’s height, as Megan stands at 5-foot-10, as well as to the incident in which Megan was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez.
In “Big Foot,” Minaj accuses Megan of lying about the shooting incident and references the death of Megan’s mother. She further claims that Megan slept with her best friend’s partner and that Megan used ghostwriters. Minaj challenges the credibility of Megan’s interview with Gayle King, during which Megan detailed her concern for her life during the altercation with Lanez.
Has Megan responded to Nicki Minaj’s diss track?
Megan Thee Stallion has yet to directly address “Big Foot.” Nevertheless, she seemed to find humor in Minaj’s track, as she shared a photo of herself laughing on her Instagram Story after Minaj released a snippet of the song.
Minaj has publicly stated that she has more songs ready to release in response if Megan does not apologize for her lyrics in “Hiss.” She warns Megan that she does not want the next installment of this song. Megan’s representatives have not yet responded to Minaj’s demands.
