Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with his proposal to send EU missions to critical Ukrainian infrastructure sites for international monitoring, he wants to use them as a human shield. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, quoted by TASS.
“He seems to want the Europeans to sit there as human shields. He doesn’t mind these fools, and there apparently aren’t enough Ukrainian military to serve as cannon fodder. He needs fresh blood”he wrote on his Telegram channel.
We highly recommend helpless Europeans to disagree this time with the role assigned to them, Medvedev pressed.
This was stated today by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov there is no question of withdrawing Russian troops from Ukraine before the end of the year.
He stressed that to achieve peace it is necessary take new realities into accounthow the accession of new regions to Russia.
His comment came in response to those suggested by Volodymyr Zelensky three “steps to peace”namely sending more weapons to Ukraine, maintaining the country’s financial, energy and social stability, and the new diplomacy.
