“Media Markt Employee’s Erotic Car Wash Dance Goes Viral on Tik Tok”

When you think of Media Markt, things like televisions, game consoles or smartphones probably come to mind first. But a video that has now been shot in a branch of the electronics store is not about the items at all.

Instead, the recordings show a Media Markt employee lolling erotically in front of the camera. She swings her hips to the song “Car Wash” by Christina Aguilera – and leaves customers speechless, as the numerous reactions to the video show.

The sexy video is said to have been posted on “Tik Tok” for Father’s Day of all days, as the video caption and the announcer of the alleged Media Markt employee reveal. “Dear daddies and boys with handcarts – watch out! Our special for you,” she says in front of the camera, grinning broadly. Armed with a cleaning bucket and a sponge, viewers can guess what’s to come.

And indeed: only one sequence later, the young woman has rid herself of her sweatshirt jacket, on the arm of which the logo of the electronics retailer can be guessed. Behind a sign that reads “Media Car Wash” and between Bobby Cars for children, the supposed employee starts her performance. Swinging her hips, she wets herself with the sponge, lasciviously slides to the ground and obviously seems to enjoy the action.

But not only the employee has her big appearance in the clip, which is around 28 seconds long. Her colleagues had to go too. In the next sequence, three of them are sitting on the Bobby Cars and pointing thumbs up and (all but one) with a big grin is enthusiastic about the erotic little dance. Then they roll away down the aisles.

Customers are visibly annoyed

And the customers? They don’t hold back for long with their summary of the clip. While some celebrate Media Markt’s erotic video and leave comments like “gorgeous” or “creative advertising”, others want to know where the store is located.

For others, on the other hand, bewilderment wins. A man who shared the video on Twitter has a bad assumption: “I’m one hundred percent sure that Media Markt’s corporate communications don’t know what’s going on in their Ansbach branch.”

But another user contradicts this: “I would actually be very surprised. The thing has been going steeply on Tiktok for weeks, the team has gone live more often, etc. I think it’s more like a central PR officer is standing in front of Tiktok with his jaw dropped and he’s not sure whether forwards or backwards.”

Whose idea the erotic clip actually came from will probably remain Media Markt’s secret forever. It remains to be seen whether other branches will follow suit and soon appear on the internet with similar clips.
