At least 40 people have been found dead in a truck train in Texas, according to local media and an AP source. The information has not been confirmed.
An American official who speaks anonymously informs the news agency AP that there may be at least 40 dead. In addition, 15 others were transported to a hospital in San Antonio, according to the official.
Two local television stations cite politicians as saying that there are 42 dead. A third television station, NEWS4SA, for its part, is told that it must be “at least 20”.
The discovery was made in and by a train in San Antonio on Monday, in what is believed to be an attempt to smuggle migrants.
