The measles virus, which was discovered in the elite residential complex (LC) “Lesoparkovy” in Chelyabinsk, turned out to be imported from Thailand. This was reported to URA.RU by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor for the region.
“A case of measles was detected in an unvaccinated child who arrived from Thailand. Preventive measures are currently being carried out in the outbreak, including medical examinations, observation and vaccination of contacts,” the supervisory agency told URA.RU.
