A slippery bridge on the Marnixstraat has caused a number of falls this evening.

A local resident filmed how several meal deliverers went down on scooters. “A scooter man, that’s bad.” According to her, many cyclists, and especially delivery people, fell this evening. The phone of one of them would even have disappeared in the water as a result.
A resident of the street and a fallen delivery boy then warned other scooter riders on the bridge, known as the Bullebak. In the end, salt was sprinkled with a bucket.
The municipality announced via Twitter that the gritting of the roads and bicycle paths started at 9 p.m.
