Floyd Mayweather was placed in the annals of sports history as one of the greatest boxers of all time; the American boxer has been out of the ring for almost three years (his last confrontation was in 2017 against Conor McGregor), and Now he wants to give way to a new stage in his life: a career as a coach.
After the death of his uncle Roger Mayweather, ‘Money’ announced his intentions to start training promising young boxers and began this process with his son and nephew, e He even made a statement on social networks in which he assured that he will be “one of the best coaches in the world”, but now he clarified that, for the moment, he will only support African-Americans.
“Mexicans support Mexicans, Dominicans support Dominicans, Chinese support the Chinese. I am African-American supporting my people first”he declared.
Floyd is currently focused on supporting David Haney, a 21-year-old boxer who holds a 24-0 record, and made it clear that he wants to lead him, and young African American, to success.

“Obviously I want to give him back to sports. I was inspired by my uncle’s death. At the end of the day, Haney is an African-American boy who asked me for advice, asked me for help. I’m just helping an African American boy to be successful. I will continue to help them grow. I want the best for them “Mayweather said.
