Berlin – Corona still determines life. Nevertheless, there are again significantly more visitors in Berlin than a few weeks ago. Some of them came to “Metropolis: The New Now”. The metropolitan conference will discuss opportunities and findings from the pandemic until Saturday. Topics such as climate protection, traffic turnaround and public participation were also on the agenda. The start was on Wednesday.
Numerous mayors and urban researchers from all over the world came to the E-Werk in Mitte, and many more were there online. The big question was: How should the “New Now” be designed?
