Mayor of The Hague: compensate for missed turnover from last rounds | Inland

All people aged 13 and older who want to go to a catering business, a cinema or a theater will soon have to prove that they have been vaccinated against the corona virus, have been tested negative or have recently been cured. This is possible, for example, with the CoronaCheck app. But for what, it is worth something, says Van Zanen: “As far as I am concerned, the introduction of a corona admission ticket must be accompanied by more freedom. That is why I believe that if you start using the QR code, it should also lead to further relaxation for, for example, night catering.”

The mayor praises the catering entrepreneurs: “The catering industry has suffered heavy blows in recent times. They have been closed for a while and when they were open they could only use part of their capacity as people had to keep 1.5 meters away. We have asked a lot from the catering industry: splash screens, constantly changing rules and checking whether people could keep the necessary distance. That has largely done the hospitality industry well.”
