Mayor of Talcahuano asks to start Phase 2 in the province of Concepción and regulate the opening of trade

The mayor of Talcahuano, Henry Campos, asked President Sebastián Piñera go to “Phase 2” of the Step by Step Plan throughout the province of Concepción.
The communal chief sent a letter to the agent requesting the measure.
According to Campos, the images of crowds in shopping centers and public spaces they are unfortunate, evidencing the lack of self-care.
With the beginning of Phase 2, the aim is to regulate the reopening of shopping centers, closing all those that are not essential, in addition to the reduction of opening hours.
It also seeks to extend the State of Constitutional Exception for Catastrophe, for at least another 90 days, after its expiration on September 15.
In addition, the mayor requested a considerable increase in supervision in the days prior to the National Holidays, to avoid crowds and possible outbreaks contagion.
