Max Verstappen gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport in which he revealed the reason why he wants to make contact with John Elkann. The Dutch Formula 1 pilot would like to agree on an expensive deal with the Ferrari president.
Max Verstappen’s contract with Red Bull Racing runs until the end of 2028, but he is still interested in acquiring a Ferrari car to add to his collection.

“I’d like to have all the Red Bull cars I won the F1 World Championship with in my garage and also Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2004 because it’s an amazing car,” uviedol Max Verstappen.
“But I don’t know how to get to him, so I’m turning to John Elkann. I hope he will read this interview and maybe give me a call.” added the 25-year-old Formula 1 champion.
The Ferrari F2004 fetched €3.04 million in 2004 and was the most expensive F1 car ever sold until 2017, until the F2001 sold for €7.12 million.
