Senalioune: Who is Khally Diallo?

Khally Diallo: I am khally Diallo, young Mauritanian, orphan of father and mother having been adopted in a French family. So I had the chance to go to school, then I went to higher education in Senegal where I obtained a professional diploma in audiovisual journalism. Then I returned to Mauritania in 2011 for the launch of Sahel television as a journalist alongside Bah Ould Saleck, where I spent more than a year and a half before resigning. After that, I worked at the national executive secretariat for the fight against HIV/AIDS as a communications manager for 10 years before taking my voluntary departure and today I work for myself as an entrepreneur.

Why candidate for deputy?

I am candidate deputy on the national list of young people to defend the voiceless, the oppressed and raise the voice of the youth that I have always carried. Our national assembly needs new energy and it is also the place for us to highlight the youth of our country and participate in the control of government action.

What can your candidacy bring to Mauritanian youth?

My candidacy will bring new life to young people, but above all I will be a clear voice for these young people. I will carry the voice of this youth, while participating in discussions and highlighting the situation of our youth who lack employment, civil status and other concerns of freedom of expression and others.

The Hope Mauritania coalition is a political framework that highlights the cultural diversity of our country. The volition of hope is the true representative identity card of our country. It is a coalition that fights inequalities and injustices in Mauritania

The outline of your program?

The main lines of my program are access to civil status, employability of young people, but also I am committed to reducing the minimum salary of a deputy by 50% to invest in education, training and income-generating activities. for the youth.

Do you have confidence in the Mauritanian electoral system given that during the last presidential elections the opposition accused the regime of massive fraud?

Having confidence in this electoral system is saying too much, but let’s remain optimistic
