FilmIn the wonderful world of theme parks, names such as Disney, Universal and Six Flags stand head and shoulders above the rest. But that could change from 2024, when toy magnate Mattel will open its first theme park: Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale, Arizona.
“Step into an action-packed world at Mattel Adventure Park, the only place where you can get behind the wheel of a blazingly fast Hot Wheels go-kart, join Thomas & Friends on a treasure hunt and enjoy a signature pink drink on the rooftop from the Barbie Beach House!” reads the official website of the new theme park.

From rides for the little ones, thrilling and high-speed rollercoasters for the daredevils, to a veritable theater where various Mattel adventures will be shown on stage, Mattel Adventure Park is here to delight and immerse visitors of all ages in the wonderful toy world from Mattel.
The new theme park will be part of the VAI Resort, which will include an outdoor concert hall, four major hotels, a nightclub, and several dining and party venues. The resort is set to open to the general public sometime in 2024. An exact date has not yet been announced.
