Despite last week’s dating headlines, the Hummels put family first. Keep for son Ludwig (4). Cathy (34) and footballer Mats Hummels (33) of course together – come what may. This is also shown by their joint Instagram post from vacation in Tyrol.
Family comes first for the Hummels
A “Dinner Date” post by Céline Bethmann (23) got the ball rolling for many headlines about Mats Hummels. The GNTM winner from 2017 apparently dined in the kicker’s apartment. “Yes, we’re dating,” the model also revealed on RTL. She then published private chats in which Mats Hummels apparently came out as single.
And what about Cathy Hummels? She is silent, jokes and enjoys. Although rumors of separation have been circulating for some time, Cathy and Mats have not yet confirmed.
Instead, the 34-year-old hardly misses an opportunity to show family solidarity. This also applies to Easter, of course, when the Hummels trio spends a few days together with Cathy’s sister’s family in Tyrol.

Is Cathy alluding to past headlines in the post?
On Instagram, Cathy records the complete kids’ program for her community: petting animals, looking for eggs and romping around in nature – son Ludwig gets his money’s worth. And mom and dad also seem to spend time together in the mountains. Mats can also be seen in the photos that Cathy posts. “My name is Hase #ididntknow #ichweißvonnichts #bunnyfun – Caption comes from Mats Hummels! What does that mean?”, is her cryptic caption. Is she alluding to her husband’s past headlines?
In any case, the fact is: Céline Bethmann and the footballer no longer follow each other on Instagram. Seems they’ve started flirting and holidaying with Cathy is bringing family back to the fore. (rla)
