Mate X2: Huawei’s foldable survived the durability test with distinction

Huawei’s new foldable smartphone arrived at the end of February with many new features. Referred to as Mate X2, this phone takes over the previous Mate X and Mate Xs models.

This equipment has now passed a baffling durability test, but it has passed with all the distinction.

When there is a new smartphone on the market, it is common to pass several tests that prove its durability. Or, on the contrary, expose your weaknesses.

These tests also make it possible to increase the confidence of potential consumers who, in this way, realize which models are the most resistant on the market.

Of course, at first glance some phones seem more powerful than others. However, when it comes to folding, most of us feel that tough people have very little. But is this really the case?

Huawei Mate X2 passes durability test with distinction

The new Huawei Mate X2 folding has undergone the terrible durability test of the famous YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. Youtuber Zack did everything to test this phone, which costs around 2,500 euros.

But the result is, in fact, admirable, and the Chinese brand's latest folding has passed the test with distinction, virtually without any damage.

It takes just over 9 minutes of a video in which Mate X2 is tortured in different ways, with nails, X acts, scratches, lighters, sand, among others. But around 7:40 a.m., we can see some really scary moments where Zack is testing the folds of the Huawei smartphone to the max.

Were you able to see all the way without squirming? Well, maybe even in this gym the Huawei Mate X2 will do better than us. And this test also shows that the new models are more and more robust and well built.

So, if you are planning to buy this phone, we can conclude that you will have a very durable device in your hands.
