Kharkov counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a quick counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region in September 2022. Then, in particular, they managed to free more than 3,000 square kilometers of territory in just five days, starting on September 6th.

For example, during this counter-offensive, the invaders left the Borovsk community, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of the village of Peski-Radkovsky and Kupyansk-Uzlovoi, which is considered an important logistics point.

As of mid-September, according to the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov, the occupiers controlled about 6% of the territory of the region, and by the end of September, 454 settlements had already been liberated from the Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region.
