Zamalek opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the first half with the foot of its player Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, while Al-Ahly player Yasser Ibrahim equalized the score in the 63rd minute of the second half of the match.

Shortly afterwards, Bulldozer Mostafa Mohamed scored Zamalek’s second goal with a superb shot in the 70th minute.
