Marvel has again postponed release dates. Both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Thor: Love and Thunder are now released at a different time than originally planned.
The release of Doctor Strange 2 has been rescheduled for another four months and is due out early 2022. The film is now scheduled for March 25, 2022. And that has immediate consequences for it Thor: Love and Thunder, which is now scheduled for February 11, 2022. The difference with the original release date is not large, because the film should have been released a week later.
Why changed?
The question, of course, is why Marvel’s release date Thor: Love and Thunder brought something forward. That probably has to do with the fact that there is a six week difference between the two films.
This allows fans to enjoy for the first few weeks Thor 4 and there is then enough time to cool down and that MCU film can also perform optimally. Most people go to a movie in the first month of release.
