Martin Scorsese has signed an exclusive first-look deal with Apple TV +. This means that the director will release his next projects exclusively on Apple’s streaming platform.
According to Deadline This is a multi-year deal and Scorsese will transfer all activities of its production company Sikelia Productions to Apple.
The first project that the parties will release together is the film Killers of the Flower Moon. Production of the film about a series of mysterious murders in the US is said to cost $ 180 million. The lead roles are played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
Previously, Steven Spielberg signed one similar deal with Apple TV +. In addition, the most recent film with Tom Hanks released on the tech giant’s streaming platform.
