In the middle of the night, a vehicle passing through the northern districts of Marseille was targeted.
It was almost 3:30 am, on the night between Sunday and Monday, when a black Renault Mégane pulled into the L2 motorway in the northern districts of Marseille. It was then that its occupants were caught in a heavy fire of bullets, according to information from BFM TV Marseille.
The precise circumstances were not known this Monday morning, in particular to know the modus operandi of the criminals. But eventually two men died and another was seriously injured.
The front passenger died instantly, the driver died shortly after the rescue arrived. The third passenger, aged 20, was taken to the hospital. The vital prognosis of him is committed.
The investigation is conducted by the judicial police, BFM TV announced.
