Marrenbach takes over at Althoff – Rolling Pin

What a change! Frank Marrenbach leaves the Oetker Collection and becomes managing partner at Althoff Hotels. Already on May 1st, Marrenbach hands over his agendas to his designated successor to the previous co-CEO Timo Grünert. In early 2020, Marrenbach caused a sensation when he transferred to Henning Matthiesen as the Hotel Director of Brenners Park-Hotel Baden-Baden.

The grand seigneur of the German hotel industry, Thomas H. Althoff, of course remains loyal to the Althoff Collection and, as majority shareholder and chairmen of the board, switches to the areas of strategy and development. “Our company is in a continuous growth process. Frank Marrenbach was most recently associated with the Oetker Collection as General Manager of Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden for around 20 years. Since 2008, he has also been responsible for the entire group as CEO. At Althoff Hotels, the 53-year-old managing partner takes over the operational management of Althoff Hotels. These include the brands Althoff Collection, AMERON Hotels and URBAN LOFT.
