Marques Brownlee launches updated camera blind test

Every year for the past few years, Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, has held a blind test of mobile cameras to see which of the year’s new flagship models from Apple, Samsung, Huawei and other manufacturers produce the best images according to the ordinary users.

Now this year’s edition of the test is underway and has been updated to keep on one own website with a more advanced configuration to obtain more statistically reliable results.

On the trial site, you can choose from three categories: Standard, Night, and Portrait modes. Then a series of images of two randomly selected phone models is shown, and you click on the image that you think is the best. You can keep choosing images dozens of times, and the more times you rate, the more accurate it is.

Last year’s test was a knockout competition won by the Pixel 5A (after victories against the Pixel 6 Pro, Iphone 13 Pro, Realme GT and Oneplus 9 Pro).
