Singer Markus Riva has traveled on time at the beginning of the new school year and offers a new video and song from the 80’s in the mood of the new album, reports the creature “900 seconds”. Along with the video, a new song in Latvian from the upcoming album, which was written in an emergency, is presented.
The video was made in collaboration with stylist and make-up artist Kristīne Čakari, who can also be seen in the clip. For both video characters, getting into different characters is no stranger, and this time both have indulged in a fun adventure, inspired by the events of pop culture in the late 80s and early 90s, as well as the fashion icons of that time.
The song “In Your Words” is produced by Andis Ansons, while the video was created in close collaboration with Dree and “Clipmaker”. The video can be found on Markus Riva’s YouTube channel, but the song can also be listened to on all music streaming platforms.
Riva, said that fashion periodically returns, as it is said in his song – “In Your Words”. “The way we felt as a child 20 years ago and the way we feel today is not lost anywhere, and we will always feel that way. I think a lot of people can “connect” themselves with these emotions, “the singer explained.
He said that the brightest memory from the 80’s is the shop window of the shopping center “Children’s World”, behind which was a toy train, which the musician used to watch. Meanwhile, Chakare said that the dolls Barbie and Ken are her memories of that time.
The singer refused to predict when his next concerts might be.
