If it was only up to the decision of the Slovakian national team goalkeeper Marek Rodák, it would be completely simple. He would prefer the option of catching, and that includes leaving London’s Fulham. However, as he revealed to ŠPORT.sk, fate does not lie in his hands.
Part of the football organization Fulham FC he has basically been since January 2013, which means he has belonged to this traditional English club for 11 long years. Although he has a number of significant achievements to his credit, even with “The Cottagers”, he is still not the one on whose shoulders the absolute greatest reliance would rest.

Despite the fact that Marek Rodák has a contract with Fulham only until the end of the current season, he cannot yet negotiate with possible applicants, which prevents him from the fact that the “cottages” have an option to extend the cooperation for another year. So the decision is up to the club management and not the Slovak representative.
“That’s why I can’t even negotiate with other teams or sign a contract yet. Something like this will only be possible during May,” states the 27-year-old from Košice, who, however, does not hang his head and plans to discuss his situation already during the current January transfer window.
