The Soroptimist Club, an international NGO, works in areas of activity related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN such as health, education, women’s empowerment and leadership, education and environment.

You have surely already crossed paths with members of the Soroptimist club, for example during their Talents de Femmes fair, during collections of hygiene products et tulip sales organized in various stores in the metropolis… This month, Sylvie GailletPresident and Soroptimist members have awarded scholarships to young girls who are moving towards jobs that are still very masculine. Eunice received a scholarship for the second year, she is a biotechnology student. Oceane in the second year of BTS will integrate an engineering school. As for Mariloualready a “Sorop” scholarship holder, she will receive a new boost to finance her trip as part of an international civic service to help women gain confidence through visual communication.
Three associations helped
The Soroptimists also donated their support to the Louise-Michel association for an equifeeling course to help women victims of violence regain their self-confidence; to the Regional Center for Special Education for the Hearing Impaired for the financing of furniture adapted for the children cared for; to the Leisure and Relaxation Association for activities aimed at adults with intellectual disabilities and disabilities.
