The objective 300 cameras by the end of the mandate

The 21 municipal police officers, armed at all times, are divided into two day shifts and one night shift. The latter “works from 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.”. A telephone presence is ensured 24 hours a day.

More than 600 homes monitored during the holidays
For burglaries, you should know that the municipal police can only intervene in the event of flagrante delicto. Otherwise, it is the responsibility of the national police.
However, the services of the City are particularly attentive to the requests of the inhabitants, especially during the summer period. “We take part in Operation Tranquillity Holidays, mainly in July-August, and two to three patrols a week can be carried out [dans certains quartiers] “. For residents, it is sufficient to notify their absence to the town hall. Up to 609 homes were monitored in this context.
In 2021, the municipal police of Marcq-en-Barœul carried out more than 3,000 interventions, when 13,500 calls were made to them. She made 88 arrests.
