Marcel Sabitzer mention Manchester United bigger than Bayern Munich. Sabitzer enjoyed his loan spell at MU. Sabitzer code want to be permanent?
In the January market, the Austrian international midfielder was loaned by MU from Bayern until the end of the 2022/2023 season. At that time MU needed an injection of a midfield player because Christian Eriksen had a long injury.
So far Sabitzer is showing good performances. The 29-year-old footballer has made 16 appearances, contributing three goals and one assist for MU in all competitions.
Bayern Munich reportedly willing to release Marcel Sabitzer with a tag of around GBP 25 million (Rp. 462 billion). However, it is said that Manchester United are still unsure because they feel that Sabitzer’s ransom price is too high.
Nevertheless, Sabitzer felt at home strengthening MU. The former RB Leipzig player also feels more loved.
“I’ve experienced many things in my career, including Bayern Munich. Here, everything is bigger. There are even more people who care about you,” he said. Sabitzer to Sky Sport Germany.
“People are crazy about Manchester United. You can feel it at Old Trafford. So I can only say that I’m enjoying being here, and I’m very proud to be a part of this club.”
Bayern Munich’s new coach Thomas Tuchel will determine the future of Marcel Sabitzer at the Allianz Arena. However, Sabitzer has yet to speak to Tuchel.
