It is absolutely worthwhile to convince people who are hesitant to get vaccinated. But we should give as little attention as possible to real anti-vaxxers. That is what virologist Marc Van Ranst says in a conversation with our editors. Today Van Ranst was a guest at a symposium of the Jessa Hospital in Hasselt. Corona is becoming an epidemic of the unvaccinated, says the virologist. If you don’t get a shot, you get sick. And because the vaccination rate in our country is so high, the vaccine refusers do not really pose a threat to the people who did receive a corona jab.
