Royalty reporter Marc van der Linden has left the VU medical center and is now back home. The 50-year-old journalist does not reveal what he was admitted to, except that he had a very high fever.
On his Instagram he thanks his followers and also promotes his new book in the same message. “Thank you for the countless heartwarming messages that I received at the VU. Thank you also for the care I received there that made sure that I am still there at all.”
The reporter says that he is completely old in his head, but still has to recover physically. He does not feel the need to share exactly what brought him to the hospital.
“It takes me half an hour to tell and it’s third-hand because I didn’t get it because of the high fever and its consequences. And I actually think it’s just private info.”
Due to his illness, Van der Linden missed the annual photo opportunity of the king and queen and was not visible for several weeks RTL Boulevard.
