Diego Maradona gets the treatment of kings in his team Jimnasia e Esgrima, after the club made a throne for his 59-year-old coach to sit on him in the matches of the competing team in the Argentine soccer league on his home, and has become a king in the club.
The club, which is decorated with the colors of the team, will be auctioned after each match, and Maradona, the 1986 World Cup winner who is considered by many to be one of the best players in history, trained Chimnasia in September in an attempt to survive the relegation to the second division.
Jimnasia said that Maradona will sign copies similar to the throne to be sold at the club’s store. The first chair took place on Friday before confronting Velez Sarsfield in the league.
