Mansory: Either you like it or you hate it. And where the German tuner was mainly concerned with extreme luxury cars, it now also goes with sports cars such as the Ford GT.
Cars tackled by Mansory are often not the most tasteful on the planet. The German tuner often assaults cars like the Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Manage or a Rolls-Royce Wraith. And as you probably know, it is not just about a new bumper party or a nice spoiler. No, Mansory is always over the top.
Le Mansory
And then it is always as shock as with a beautiful supercar is going to run. In this case, it is the last generation of the Ford GT, which it calls the Le Mansory. Fortunately, the Germans have held back reasonably well this time, so there is secretly a very nice car.
That starts with the exclusivity of the model, because the tuner only builds 3 copies of this Le Mansory. With a reason, because it builds this Ford under the motto ‘one car per decade’. Mansory will be thirty years old in 2020 and so it has something to celebrate, and it does with this Ford GT.
The Ford GT is supplied by the manufacturer with a delicious 3.5-liter V6, good for 669 hp and 745 Nm. Mansory has rewritten the engine management system in such a way that the six-cylinder now squeezes out 710 hp and 840 Nm. The top speed is also slightly increased, from 347 to 354 km / h.
New headlights
But the eye always wants something at Mansory. Quite a lot, according to the past. And so this Ford GT has also been optically modified. A new aerodynamics package, made entirely of carbon fiber, makes the supercar 5 centimeters wider. The new headlights are very special. The original copies of Ford are replaced by completely new and specially developed for Le Mansory.
The original interior of the Ford GT is a bit austere for the average Mansory customer, so the Germans did something about it. But this time they do it in a tastier way than we are used to from them. Again we see a lot of Alcantara and leather, but they make the interior of this Ford GT very beautiful. The materials and colors are fairly understated for Mansory concepts, which makes you unlike Mansory’s Bentley Bentayga does not get sick without driving a meter.
