Manifesto, space concept for the future of Dacia

Et Manifest of what we will see in the future on the range of give. Nomen portends for the concept behind us, Dacia Manifesto, a car that we will never see in the production version but that introduces and anticipates some technical and design solutions that the Romanian brand will introduce on its models in the years to come. Not immediately but probably as soon as 2024, with the new generation of Dusters. We saw Dacia Manifesto in Italian preview in Rome, during Dacia Talks, background events created by the Italian division of the Romanian brand.

Open-air think tank

The look of Dacia Manifesto is typical of an all-terrain model, with large wheels and high ground clearance, characteristics that make it ideally ready to tackle any obstacle. Airless tires in particular, they also prevent the risk of punctures and represent a durable solution to conventional wheels. Goodbye doors, windshields and windows, for a complete connection with nature. Instead of the tailgate, there is then a work surface, a feature that underlines the great pragmatism that distinguishes the brand. At the front we then note the presence of the single front light which can also be extracted and used as a torch. Respect for the environment is also reflected in the composition of the body, made with recycled plastic, resulting from the transformation of the polymers used and in the mottled end result known as Starkle. The modular roof can support any type of load thanks to the modular and removable bars. An area in which Dacia has already distinguished itself with the innovative roof bars from Sandero Stepway and Jogger and, soon, also from Duster.

Dacia Manifesto’s sustainable interior

The cabin once again evokes the spirit of adventure, with washable waterproof upholstery, with those of the seats that can be removed to transform into a sleeping bag. The cabin is adorned with various eco-responsible materials, such as the cork that covers the dashboard, for example. Dacia Manifesto always keeps you connected even with the digital world, thanks to the possibility to integrate your own smartphone with the on-board system, as is already the case on various models in the range, with technology that will be developed in the future. An absolute novelty is instead YouClipa system that makes it very easy to attach a series of useful and modular accessories.

Battery just in case

The dedicated and removable battery supplies electricity via a household socket, transforming the Concept Manifesto into a source of energy to accompany outdoor activities that require it. Dacia Manifesto is therefore a prototype that espouses some of the cornerstones of the Renault brand’s philosophy, from essentiality to intelligent solutions, passing through an essential off-road vocation, projecting them towards an ever more sustainable future. A concept so close to a lunar rover, a laboratory of ideas in which to draw to evolve further.
