Mangaluru Autorickshaw Explosion: Karnataka Gov Wants NIA To Handle Investigation | Kerala | Deshabhimani

The Karnataka government wants the National Investigation Agency to take up the Mangaluru explosion case. Home Minister Araga Gyanendra and DGP Praveensood, who visited the site of the blast on Wednesday morning, announced this when speaking to the media. The state government has asked the NIA to take up the case. Central agencies are with the police as soon as the investigation began. Both advised that the case can be handed over immediately.

It was reported that the defendant Muhammad Shariq traveled throughout Tamil Nadu and Kerala under an assumed name. In relation to the blast, the investigation was conducted in eight centers including Nagercoil, Kochi, Kanyakumari, Bengaluru and Mysuru.
