The obligation to wear veils still applies in some places, for example, people have to wear mouth and nose protection in the metro and its premises or at internal events, which are attended by more than 100 people, but this safety measure has been revoked across the board.
Some epidemiologists say that the obligation to protect your mouth and nose may be reintroduced in the fall, speculating about a second wave of infection. But now there is information on the Internet that it will be necessary to wear veils again from August.
“We would like to draw your attention to a false and manipulative report that from August 1, veils will be mandatory throughout the Czech Republic, even outside. This is not true. This is a hoax that has spread in public space in recent hours,” the Ministry of Health warns on twitter .
“We recommend monitoring and drawing information only from verified sources, the ones associated with Covid-19 are best directly from our website,” the ministry added.
