Manchester United removes Cristiano Ronaldo from ‘LEGENDS’ list after controversial interview with Piers Morgan

Cristiano Ronaldo Fiery comments criticizing the team and manager Erik ten Hag left Manchester United players not wanting him to join the squad. According to insiders, Ronaldo’s teammates at United are not expecting to see him again after the World Cup as they are tired of him whining and complaining about the alleged mistreatment of him.

Manchester United’s leadership, management and current squad are all revealed in Ronaldo’s explosive interview aired on Wednesday night. Also, pending a response the morning after the interview, United removed a huge mural from Old Trafford.

Now United have gone a step further to show their anger at last season’s top scorer and five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Ronaldo, who has been listed as a legend since the inception of Manchester United’s official website, did not appear. It just means that Manchester United officials no longer want him to be associated with their club and for him to have played his last game for the Red Devils.

Piers Morgan has called Manchester United ‘petty’ for removing a huge Cristiano Ronaldo mural from Old Trafford. A huge mural of Ronaldo in a United shirt was displayed just above the entrance to Old Trafford at the start of the season. However, after seeing a video of United removing the artwork from Old Trafford, Ronaldo’s interviewer Piers Morgan tweeted: “Wow… how petty.”

However, all was not as it seemed and the removal of the banner was just a coincidence. The men’s and women’s Rugby League World Cup final takes place at Old Trafford on Saturday and instead of the giant mural, branding will now be displayed before that league match.
