Hibernian is reportedly seeking £ 5 million more add-ons, but both the Gunners and the Hammers have told the Scottish club to lower the asking price.

Moyes wants to sign Doig as a cover on the left-back, while Arteta is still looking for a new left-back despite signing Nuno Tavares as a substitute for Kieran Tierney.

What did Jack Ross say?

Hibernian boss Ross has said that Doig will be leaving the club in the next few days.

However, Ross has not said where the 19-year-old left back will move.

Ross told Sky Sports: “I understand that Josh is very likely to move out of the club.

“We have to prepare for that eventuality, it seems that this will happen soon. There has been a lot of interest, which I think the club is trying to realize this week, one way or another ”.

Josh Doig Stats

Doig is a very talented and promising young left-back who has done well for the Hibernian first team.

The 19-year-old Scottish teenager scored a goal and provided four assists in 28 Scottish Premiership games last season.

The teenager played a total of 35 games for Hibernian last season.
