– The incident was reported at 20.43, that a person had been trapped under an excavator. The fire brigade moved out with all of the crew and got the person loose, police operations manager Eivind Hellesund tells Sunnmørsposten.
A little over 9 pm on Thursday, the police were notified that the man had been released. The person was transported to Førde by air ambulance. The state of health is not known. It must have been the hip area that got pinched, and the fire brigade is now on site to ensure where the excavator is. There must have been poor mobile phone coverage in the area, and it is unclear how long the person was stuck.
