Man Stabbed in Head with Screwdriver in Times Square: No Arrests Made, Info Needed

A man was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver last night during an apparent fight over cigarettes in Times Square, a global tourism icon.

The stabbing occurred near West 43rd Street and 7th Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, right where there is a New York police station.

NYPD said the victim is a 31-year-old man. He was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive, authorities said. Pix11. His name was not released.
