Man pushes woman (20) from bicycle in Wilp and threatens her with a weapon, police are looking for witnesses Inland

The woman was cycling in Wilp over the viaduct on the Ardeweg in the direction of the Kar when suddenly a car stopped in front of her. The driver of the car pushed the young woman into the verge and threatened her with a weapon that looked like a firearm.

Finally, the woman managed to get away. She got help from oncoming cyclists. She has not suffered any injuries.

Officers immediately arrived on the spot after the report, but the vehicle and the man had disappeared without a trace. Police have launched an investigation and are calling on witnesses to come forward.

The driver is a light-skinned man, about 50 years old, with spiky dark brown hair. The man has a slim build and is about 1.75 meters tall. He was wearing sunglasses with yellow/green lenses, a dark T-shirt with short sleeves and black long pants.

After the incident, the man drove away in the direction of Sluinerweg.
